Modernization & Integration

Legacy application modernization and systems integration: incremental rewrites, API layers and connections between payments, ERP, CRM and internal tools.

Swatch · modernization-integrationSatin 5

Who it’s for

  • Businesses on aging software

The system still runs the company, but it is slow to change, hard to hire for and risky to touch.

  • Teams re-typing data between tools

Orders, invoices and customers are copied by hand between systems, and mistakes follow.

  • Products adding payments or partners

You need reliable integrations with payment gateways, marketplaces or partner APIs that fail gracefully.

What you get

  1. 01Modernization in small, reversible steps, so the business never stops
  2. 02One source of truth for each piece of data
  3. 03Integrations that retry, reconcile and alert instead of failing silently
  4. 04A clear map of your systems that your whole team can read

Deliverables

  • Legacy system assessment
  • Incremental rewrites (strangler pattern)
  • API layers
  • Payment gateway integration
  • ERP / CRM integration
  • Data migration & reconciliation

Materials

Tools we reach for first, chosen per project and never by habit.

  • REST
  • GraphQL
  • Webhooks
  • Razorpay
  • Stripe
  • Zoho
  • Salesforce

How we weave it

  1. Pass 01

    Untangle the knot

We map the old system's behavior, data and hidden rules, including the ones nobody wrote down.

  2. Pass 02

    Wrap, then replace

An API layer goes around the legacy core; new pieces replace old ones behind it, one thread at a time.

  3. Pass 03

    Integrate defensively

Idempotent webhooks, retries, reconciliation jobs and alerts: integrations built for the day a partner misbehaves.

  4. Pass 04

    Migrate with proof

Data moves in rehearsed, verified runs with counts and checksums, and a rollback plan for each step.

Questions, answered

Do we have to rewrite everything at once?

No, and we rarely recommend it. We modernize incrementally, replacing parts of the old system behind a stable interface so the business keeps running throughout.

Which payment gateways do you integrate?

Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, Cashfree and others, including subscriptions, refunds, webhooks and reconciliation with your accounting system.

Can you integrate with our ERP or CRM?

Yes: Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, Tally, SAP and others via their APIs, or through a middleware layer when direct access is limited.

How do you protect data during a migration?

With rehearsed migrations on copies of production data, automated verification of counts and checksums, encrypted transfers and a tested rollback at every step.
